I am not Native American but I did grow up being lied to through history books about Native Americans. I live in Arizona and because of a young girl's suicide on the Reservation, it drew me to the Gila River Reservation. I now worship at a tiny church there and have been there for nearly a year. The U.S. Government has long taken advantage of the spirituality and "balance" of the Native American people. Perhaps the U.S. Government is afraid and concerned. I am not because I choose to place my trust in the Creator who tells us in 1 Chronicles 28:20 "Get to work and do not be afraid of the size of the task. The Lord thy God is with you. He will never forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly." The Lakota Sioux Nation deserves freedom as we all do. We need to return to "balance" and live together peacefully according to the laws of the Creator. God bless the Native Americans.
